Saqr Hospital, established during the early days of the Union, is one of the first modern hospitals with specialized departments. Located in the Seih Al Qusaidat area, it serves various regions and all segments of society. Built using modern materials, the hospital features a large area divided into floors and wings. Notably, it has been the designated facility for all births in Ras Al Khaimah for nearly 38 years. Saqr Governmental Hospital remains the main healthcare destination, preserving its original structure and design despite expansions to accommodate population growth.

Saqr Governmental Hospital holds great architectural value as one of Ras Al Khaimah's distinctive buildings, established during the early years of the UAE's formation to prioritize healthcare services for citizens and residents, particularly in remote areas. Its architecture reflects the influence of modern construction methods, featuring spacious interiors, left and right wings, a glass facade, and aluminum panels for aesthetics and sun protection. Serving as a collective memory, the hospital played a pivotal role in the community, being the sole government hospital for childbirth operations for 38 years and offering specialized clinics and surgical operating rooms for comprehensive healthcare services.
