Sheikh Sultan bin Rashid Al Nuaimi praised the activities and workshops held as part of the National Program "Cultural Summer" organized by the Ministry of Culture and Knowledge Development under the patronage of His Excellency Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Culture and Knowledge Development. Sheikh Sultan pointed out that the program is a real opportunity for citizens and residents from different age groups to learn and gain new skills in the fields of music, theater, fine art and literature, as it contributes to increasing their awareness. He also praised the efforts exerted by His Excellency Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Culture and Knowledge Development, and the role of the Ministry of Culture and Knowledge Development in sponsoring the cultural and knowledge sectors in the country and enhancing the role of the national identity in the society, in addition to the ministry’s role in discovering talents and utilizing youth potentials in the correct way. Sheikh Sultan stressed that the wise leadership and government of the UAE are always keen to support the youth to ensure the development of their capabilities and to discover new creative talents who will eventually benefit the society in various fields. This came during the visit conducted by Sheikh Sultan bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, who was accompanied by a number of local leaders of Ajman, to the activities of the summer program at the center of Ministry of Culture and Knowledge Development in Ajman. In his visit, Sheikh Sultan listened to a detailed explanation on all workshops, activities and events held in the center. On the other hand, music workshops organized by the Ministry of Culture and Knowledge Development as part of the "Cultural Summer" program were the most popular among participants. “ Cultural Summer music workshops doesn’t only offer different range of classes to teach students the basics of playing the piano and a number of other musical instruments, but is also completely free of charge making it the first of its kind. It aims to raise awareness about the importance of culture and arts and its different fields, in addition to empowering young people across the UAE to acquire new skills and develop their talents, putting in mind that music plays a key role in many arts such as theater and cinema.”, commented Yasser Al Gergawi, Director of Events at the Ministry of Culture and Knowledge Development” Al-Gergawi pointed out that the summer program does not only aim to occupy students spare time in the summer holiday, but also aims to identify and develop artistic and creative talents at an early stage in the various forms of arts including theater, visual arts, music and literature, thus creating a new generation of artists, intellectuals and creatives in the future.
