Events of the 46th National Day celebrations organized by the Ministry of Culture and Knowledge Development has been launched yesterday in Dubai City Walk, in the presence of heads of 27 participating Arab and Foreign delegates, a number of cultural leaders and a huge audience compromising of more than 6000 people. Events include “Parade of the Nations” with international performers from more than 27 brotherly countries including Costa Rica, Colombia, Russia, Ireland, Italy, Spain, Romania, Turkey, Malta and Poland dressed in traditional clothes representing their countries. City walk in also home to “Cultures of the Nations” pavilions, where participating countries from Kuwait, Jordan, Tunisia, Montenegro, Kyrgyz Republic, Serbia, Kazakhstan, Indonesia, Belarus, Turkey, Austria, Ethiopia and Bosnia and Herzegovina showcased their various cultures and heritage. Key performances and events include folklore and fashion shows from Japan, Belarus, Austria and Kyrgyzstan, in addition to a traditional Emirati Heritage village with traditional handcrafts, a freestyle drawing studio for international and Emirati artists, in addition to a kids corner.
