The Ministry of Culture and Knowledge Development has concluded 46th National Day celebrations with a number of exceptional international performances. The Ministry’s week long celebrations offered a national festival for all segments of the UAE society and included more than 100 events with a combination of arts, culture and heritage. Dubai City Walk celebrations received more than 18,000 visitors and included performances by Emirati and global folklore bands, in addition to a fine arts exhibition and a mural by Emirati, Arab and international artists. On the other hand, the Ministry’s cultural centers acted as focal centers across the UAE, receiving thousands of visitors. Cultural centers were home to heritage villages, free-style drawing studios, playing areas, cartoon characters and cultural competitions.
